ECLS will host the school year's first Weather Academy on September 16 with Doug Michaels from Channel 18 WQOW! We have an awesome opportunity to shine the light on our school!!
The weather academyhas two parts.
Part One is an assembly from 1-2pm for grades 3-6,
Part Two an Open House, which goes from 5:00pm til about 6:30. Anyone involved in the school (all student, parents, siblings, and faculty) are encouraged to come.
During the open house, Doug Michaels will broadcast the weather shows live, at 5 and 6, plus have weather experiments for the kids to see, prize giveaways like T-shirts and Daybreak mugs, a Grand Prize, severe weather setups, and a kid pic coloring area.
Information went home with your children. ECLS would like to encourage all of the families to attend to make this event a huge success for our school. Students are encourage to wear their spirit wear or sports jerseys for the open house!
We hope to see everyone on Wednesday September 16!
